Who is responsible
Frank Sites is the responsible party for the processing of your personal information under POPIA. We are a web design business based in South Africa. Our Information Officer is responsible for how your personal information is handled and may be contacted at franksitesza@gmail.com regarding any request, query, or concern relating to your personal information.
What we collect
We collect the personal information that you provide to us through the forms on this website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, business name (optional), and the message you submit.
- Quote generator: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name, industry, current website, timeline, budget, and the project options you select.
When you submit a form, your IP address is processed briefly to prevent spam and abuse. Our application retains it only in temporary memory, for a short period, to count recent requests, and does not use it to identify you. Your IP address may also be recorded in the standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider, which are retained for a limited period and then discarded.
Why we use it
We process your personal information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, communicate with you, and deliver our services. We process this information because you have provided it to us for these purposes, and because it is necessary to respond to your request and to carry out any work you engage us for.
Communications and marketing
If you contact us, submit an enquiry, or engage Frank Sites for a project, you agree that we may contact you in connection with that enquiry or engagement. As a person who has approached or done business with us, you may also receive communications from us regarding our services, updates, and offers. We do not sell your personal information or make it available to third parties for their own marketing. Every marketing communication we send includes a means to opt out, and we will action any opt-out request promptly.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use the following service providers to operate this website and deliver your messages:
- Vercel hosts the website and serves its pages.
- Resend delivers the enquiry emails from the site to us.
- Google (Gmail) is where we receive and read those emails.
These providers process personal information on our behalf and solely for the purpose of operating our website and email. Each is bound by its own data processing terms, which require it to maintain appropriate security and to process personal information only as necessary to provide its service to us.
Some of these providers store or process personal information outside South Africa. We rely on such transfers being necessary for the performance of the service you have requested, and each provider maintains its own safeguards to protect personal information in accordance with recognised data protection standards.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies, and we do not create a profile of you. Only the functionality strictly necessary to load and operate the site is used.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary. As a general guide, enquiries that do not result in a project are removed within approximately 24 months, while records relating to work we have carried out are retained for as long as necessary to meet our business and legal obligations, including tax requirements. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, and we will comply unless we are required by law to retain it.

- request that we correct or update your personal information;
- request that we delete your personal information;
